Building Improvement Fund
Donations to this fund are used to help defray costs associated with upkeep and maintenance of the building.
Caring Committee Fund
Donations to this fund are used to help to defray costs of providing items of comfort in times of illness, surgery or loss.
Florence and Arthur Bogeaus Youth Scholarship Fund
Donations to this fund are used to sponsor Jewish Educational experiences for children and teenagers.
Levenfeld/Kritzler Fund
Donations are used to fund the Scholar-in-Residence program.
Library Fund
Donations to this fund are used to purchase new books and supplies for the Temple Library.
Music Fund
Donations to this fund are used to purchase new music and sponsor special music programs.
Prayer Book Fund
Donations to this fund are used to purchase copies of the Reform prayer book (Mishkan T’fillah) A book plate will be placed on the inside cover of the book acknowledging the donation. The minimum donation to this fund is $50.00.
Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund
Donations to this fund are used to fund scholarships, support special activities and promote worthy causes at the Rabbi’s discretion.
Religious School Scholarship Fund
Donations to this fund are used for activity scholarships and the purchase of items to enhance our school programs.
The Anna & Leon Rudzin Holocaust Education Fund
Donations to this fund will be used to educate the students of Congregation Or Shalom about the Holocaust and its effect on the Jewish people.
Stephen McNulty Youth Fund
Donations to this fund honor the memory of Stephen McNulty, beloved young man from Or Shalom and are used to fund major programming and equipment expenses for Temple youth programs.
Tree of Life
A leaf inscribed to commemorate a lifecycle event (birth, wedding, bar or bat mitzvah).
Donation: $180.00
A stone inscribed to commemorate a lifecycle event (birth, wedding, bar or bat mitzvah).
Donation: $1000.00
Memorial Plaques
Plaques may be purchased to honor the memory of a loved one. The plaques are mounted on our memorial wall located in our sanctuary. Donation: $360.00
Please contact the Temple office to make contributions and to have tribute cards mailed. The Minimum donation is $10.
