We invite you to come join us for our Or Shalom Chanukah celebration. No matter how it’s spelled, Chanukah actually means rededication. It celebrates the time when our ancestors rededicated the Temple in Jerusalem that had previously been destroyed and rededicated their intention to foster an active, vibrant, Jewish life as a community.  

Or Shalom will be hosting eight nights of Chanukah Mixer events for different groups within our congregational family. As part of our year of Living Torah, each night we will gather in person to say the blessings, light the menorah, play games, build connections, and strengthen community bonds. In this way we will rededicate our temple building as a place of gathering after being apart for so long and rededicate ourselves to active, vibrant, Jewish life at Or Shalom. 

All events will take place in-person at Or Shalom. The blessings will also be live-streamed on Facebook Live every night.
