Each year on Christmas Eve day, Congregation Or Shalom and friends join together in support of PADS of Lake County to help feed 100–200 unhoused individuals and their families.

Our Goals

• To provide nourishment and care to a too-often overlooked community in our area.
• To offer a few hours of respite to the dedicated PADS staff and volunteers who work tirelessly year-round to provide food and shelter. By stepping in on this meaningful day, we help give these kind and giving workers precious time to be with their own friends and families on a night devoted to nurturing those relationships.

How You Can Help
You can support this effort by contributing in any way that works for you, including:

• Preparing or donating food
• Donating your time
• Helping transport meals
• Assisting with other tasks as needed to help make this event a success

• 1:00 - 4:00pm - pack meals at Or Shalom
• 4:00 - 6:00pm - deliver meals to PADS
