Join us for a special full community gathering to celebrate Shabbat on the first Friday of every month. Each month's worship service will feature local musicians led by our renowned Cantor Laurie Akers and Rabbi Ari Margolis. Our in-the-round service will raise your ruach/spirit in connection with each other and with God. We'll also be celebrating September birthdays and anniversaries with a special blessing on the bima from Rabbi Ari.

We will then gather in the Social Hall for our World of Or Shalom oneg, where you can discover the various clubs and committees at Or Shalom. It's a wonderful opportunity to learn how you can get involved, connect with fellow congregants, and make a meaningful impact in our community!

This month's food vendors are:

• Lou Malnati's - deep dish pizza
• Joanie's Pizzeria of Long Grove - Detroit-style pizza
• Antioch Pizza Shop - thin crust pizza & salad

We will have a variety of cheese and vegetable pizzas available!

Schedule:

6:00PM: Shabbat dinner ($18/adult, $12/child, 4 and under free)

7:00PM: Shabbat Rishonah service (all are welcome, no registration required)

8:00PM: Festive oneg with desserts
