Caring Committee

Our goal is to help the members of our Congregation feel like they are a part of a Kehillah Kedosha, a Holy Community, where we will provide support and comfort to our Or Shalom Community members during times of loss, illness or surgery, as well as times of celebration.

 

Committee members send Condolence cards, and Yahrzeit cards to congregants on the first anniversary of the Yahrzeit of a loved one.

 

Deliver Healing bags to a congregant who has been hospitalized and/or had surgery, or an ongoing illness.

 

Shiva assistance for congregants to help with set-up and clean-up.

 

Yizkor (Remembrance bags) bags are delivered to congregants who have lost a loved one in the past year.

 

Wellness and Outreach to Congregants

 

Welcome Baby bags for parents of our Congregation.

 

Help to provide transportation for our members to and from Congregation Or Shalom services or events.
