Women of Or Shalom
The Women of Or Shalom is a committed group of women working together to enrich our community, our congregation, and ourselves. We are part of a network of Reform Jewish women, who identify as female, non-binary or gender fluid, working together to empower women and communities through the bonds of sisterhood, spirituality, and social justice.
New members of Or Shalom, as of July 1, 2024, are welcome to one complimentary year of membership in Women of Or Shalom. We invite you to attend and contribute to our meetings and events. In short, we would love to meet you!
Our goals of presenting meaningful and enjoyable events, supporting the congregation, assisting with congregational programming, contributing to WRJ (Women of Reform Judaism), and our regional URJ summer camp Olin Sang Ruby Union Institute (OSRUI) are partially supported by contributions from our membership. Our recommended contribution levels are: Sarah - $40, Rebecca - $54, Rachel/Leah - $72, Ruth - $90 and Esther - $108, but all are welcome. Confidential arrangements can be made for those requiring a dues adjustment. Contact Patti at pnisenholz.wos@gmail.com. Your annual contribution runs through June 30, 2025.
