Recycling Challenge 2024-25

John Katz-Mariani was a true pillar of the Or Shalom community. While he was a deeply committed leader of many social justice initiatives here, he had a special place in his heart for environmental justice. There is now a new opportunity to help the Green Team honor his legacy through the NexTrex Recycling Challenge.

If we collect at least 1,000 lbs of recyclables in 12 months, we'll win a bench for the Mitzvah Garden and will add a remembrance plaque to the bench in honor of John. Starting now, bring your recyclables to Or Shalom and drop them off at one of the 3 bins on the first floor!

Please make sure all plastic is clean, dry, and free of residue.
