If you are searching for a meaningful and fun volunteer opportunity for all ages and abilities, join Congregation Or Shalom at Bernie's Book Bank on Saturday, October 21st from 3:00-4:30 PM.  Bernie's Book Bank provides under-resourced Chicagoland youth with free books every year from birth through 6th grade.  There are a variety of jobs available during each session including stickering, sorting the books based on grade level and quality, and bagging the books.  Please plan to arrive at 2:50 PM for our 3:00-4:30 PM volunteer session.

Double your impact by contributing to Kaia Leibach's 8th birthday mitzvah project!  Bernie's Book Bank recently lost many of its books due to storm damage.  Kaia is raising funds to purchase brand new books with diverse characters for Bernie's Book Bank.  All funds will be matched with an EXTRA 50% in books from PaperPie and 100% commission will be donated as well!
