You are invited to join Or Shalom at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) on Saturday, October 26 from 2:00-3:45pm at the Libertyville location.  

It is estimated that at least 6,200 children die each day from causes related to undernutrition.  FMSC works with food distribution partners that stay with communities for the long haul, empowering them to move from relief to development.  You'll hand-pack rice, soy, dried vegetables and a nutritionally complete blend of vitamins and minerals into bags which are then sealed, boxed, placed on pallets and shipped to their partners working hard to reach the neediest children around the world.  

The minimum age for volunteering is 5 years old.  Volunteers must remove all jewelry and/or accessories before packing and must wear closed-toed shoes.  Please plan to arrive by 1:45pm for the 2:00pm packing session.  We hope to see you there!
