Join us for a special full community gathering to celebrate Shabbat on the first Friday of every month. Each month's worship service will feature local musicians led by our renowned Cantor Laurie Akers and Rabbi Ari Margolis. Our in-the-round service will raise your ruach/spirit in connection with each other and with God. We'll also be celebrating April Birthdays and Anniversaries with a special blessing from the bima from Rabbi Ari.

In addition to our joyful and musical Shabbat Rishonah, Or Shalom welcomes guest speaker Ryan Lavarnway. Ryan has been a Major League Baseball player for 10 seasons representing 8 different teams including the 2013 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox. He has also represented Israel internationally in the World Baseball Classic (twice) and in the Olympics. In his presentation following the service, he will talk about finding his Jewish Identity through playing for Team Israel, representing Israel on the international stage, facing antisemitism, and the importance of fully embracing your Judaism.

6:00PM: Passover-friendly dinner catered by Bo-bo's ($12/person, 4 and under free)

Menu: Greek Chicken, Greek Potatoes, Salad

7:00PM: Shabbat Rishonah service (all are welcome, no registration required)

8:00PM: Festive Oneg with passover-friendly desserts

Volunteer bakers are encouraged to bring their favorite passover goodies to share with the community

8:15PM: Guest Speaker, Ryan Lavarnway joins us via ZOOM
