Introduction to Judaism is for anyone looking to deepen their knowledge and enhance their understanding of Jewish life. Embark on a journey with Or Shalom! Whether you're a lifelong member of the community, part of a Jewish family, nurturing young minds in Jewish traditions, or simply curious about Judaism, this course is your gateway to deepen your knowledge about Judaism. Join clergy and fellow explorers as we delve into Judaism's rich history, present, and future. This 14-week course is open to all and provides insight into the ideology and practices of Reform Judaism. This class is led by our clergy: Rabbi Ari Margolis, Cantor Laurie Akers, and Rabbi Sarah Rosenbaum Jones. We will have some guest teachers with expertise in their topics. We look forward to being a part of your Jewish learning journey! The registration fee includes two course readers that you will use throughout the 14-week class and beyond.
