Breaking It Down: LGBTQIA+ -- What it Means and What the Future May Hold
Wednesday, September 25, 2024 • 22 Elul 5784
6:30 PM - 8:00 PMOr ShalomJoin us for an engaging and informative session on LGBTQ+ rights, grounded in our Jewish values, designed to broaden understanding and foster dialogue within our community. This presentation and Q&A will explore the future landscape of LGBTQ+ rights at local, regional, and national levels, providing valuable insights and fostering meaningful discussion. We will share LGBTQ+ 101 videos ahead of the event as a refresher for those who participated in our SafeZone training in 2022.
Here is a link to the series of LGBTQ+ Terms & Concepts videos that participants can watch in advance of our training. This is so that they arrive equipped with LGBTQ+ 101, so we can focus our time on other content. We will do a brief recap on terms and concepts in the training, but will not have time to do a deep dive (though attendees are welcome to reach out with questions afterwards!).
